Spontaneously decided with my manager, Jianteng, to head down to City Square Mall for Eddie Peng's EP signing. Oh my god, I'm pretty glad I went because there weren't many people around and we got right up to the second row! Hehe, saw him up close, and then I think we were sort of crazy over how cute he looked, and he was quite good singing live. His dancing also not bad, so I'm pretty impressed.

Haha, and when we went up, I was all, I MUST LEARN FROM SHOW LUO'S SIGNING. Look at person, not at him signing, but I think I was looking at him signing, BUT HE LOOKED UP AT EACH AND EVERYONE OF US. Maybe because he's new and not many autographs needed to be signed so he could do that. I think he's really sweet though. He actually talks to you, like initiates conversations.
He asked Jianteng what version of his album she liked best then she said the more sunny version instead of cool, then he asked so you don't like the cool version, ahahahahha, but she insisted on sunny version! HAHAHAH so funny. Then my turn, I said "hello", he looked up and said hi I think. Hehehehe, then after signing he thanked me for supporting him you knowwwwww, <3 Then asked "what's your favourite song?" I stunned for a moment because I'm not good with impromptu, but I managed to blurt out "Chameleon", one of the songs on the album. AHAHAHA, lucky I listened to his album the night before, or else won't know what to say! :)

But I think he said something else AFTER I answered but I couldn't hear, and I was like rushing down the stage after I offered to shake his hand and he DID!!!! :D So yeah, pretty bummed that I didn't know what he said after. :s Next time will slowly take my time yes? One step at a time la.... :)

More photos coming soon!

hoping to get a fuji instax 7s soon, considering the price of $119, pretty steep.
and also was thinking of getting a 50mm lens for my dslr, but it's also about $100 plus.

now I think that I should get either or.

And the 50mm would be more... price-worthy in that sense for me because i'll use it often.
tsk, but i really want a polaroid-ish camera!

sob.

in other words,
i'm dying from school so don't even bother asking.
:(

The below is a must-read, kthxbai.

Because I'm lazy BUT STILL WANTS LENNE TO WIN!!! :) I copied&pasted this from Kar Yan's blog (http://kayarocks.livejournal.com) who copied&pasted the whole chunk below from Lenne's blog: http://lenne.posterous.com/ I WIN!

Basically, she's part of the Singapore’s Next Fashion Superblogger Contest and her entry is also published in the Friday issue of Life! in The Straits Times.

Then cos Tampines One is the organizer haha, Lenne must buy stuff from T1 to create an outfit that must match the skirt she's wearing and honestly, I THINK SHE DID THE BEST COMPARED TO THE OTHER CONTESTANTS. (xh: THIS I KNOW IS TRUE BECAUSE SHE DID PUT IN A LOT OF EFFORT FOR THIS, FRETTING OVER IT EVEN DURING TAIWAN TRIP AHAHAHA!)

So read all about her inspiration/thoughts or just scroll down to the words in bold to see how you can help her win!

I quote myself:
“When I first saw the skirt, it struck me as a piece that long-haired, feminine-looking girls would look great in. As a girl who sports short hair, I decided to challenge my impression of the skirt by working the skirt into an androgynous outfit that could retain the feminine essence of the skirt.”

And I'm not kidding! I feel that this piece was truly a challenge for me due to the length of my hair. While the skirt looked alright on its own, my head began to shrink the moment I put it on. As a result, I even contemplated wearing a wig for the shoot!

Nevertheless, the experience was incredibly enjoyable. Desperately hunting down the blazer while locked in Topshop as the final customer who refused to leave; tottering around in the half-complete outfit to find the item that matched best in a mixture of panic and laughter- it was memorable.

This is my first time (making an effort) to do styling of any sort, and I'm very pleased with the final look! As a person who usually tries to sew or diy whatever I have in mind, I was glad I was able to reproduce certain ideas I had for the outfit (i.e socks with heels) within the parameters of Tampines One.

I hope you like it too!

Outfit
(Every item is available at Tampines One)
Ruched Sleeve Blazer, $149, from Topshop
Black Dress (worn as top), $59, from bYSI
Grey Belt, $26, from bYSI
Socks, $9.90, from Uniqlo
Patterned Cut-Out Heels, $39.90, from Mitju

(xh: what i like about the outfit are the socks, and the heels. & the cap. & the blazer... But the heels really really damn cool.)

I may be the person who styled and modeled the look, but I have a list of people I need to thank:
Photography: Togusa (solo shot), and Kaze (sitting-on-a-pile-of-magazines shot)!
Personal Cheerleader: Christian-who-calls-himself-Silver
Saikang Warriors: Tail, Marjy, Liying.

I also want to thank everyone who voted/helped to promote my entry.
(Especially Julia and Tail!)
I'm pretty overwhelmed by the response, to be quite honest!

To vote:
Become a fan of Tampines One's Facebook Fan Page, then 'like' my photo!

Singaporeans can SMS their vote to 77877 by 8 April 2010, midnight in this format:

Edit: I just found out that if you vote via SMS, you also stand a chance to win $350 worth of shopping vouchers! 2 entries will be picked from those who voted for the finalist with the highest vote. Each SMS costs 20 cents.

If you like what you see, remember to vote!
Love,
Lenne ♥
